Outside of love, fatherhood is an imperfect journey. Like any parent, I’ve made my mistakes along the way, and yet, through it all, I’ve never lost sight of one thing: the importance of nurturing my children's creativity. Creativity is where dreams are born, and it is where I believe we should all want our children to thrive. This journal is my contribution to that space—a place for fathers and their children to explore, express, and grow together in a way that embraces imagination, vulnerability, and authentic connection.

I created Technicolor Wide Eyed Hero to serve as a multi-purpose tool—something that will not only encourage children to dream but also help them be brave in expressing their emotions, feelings, and hopes. It’s a space where they can freely share how they see the world, and, more importantly, how they see their father. Their truth is often the truth—raw, unfiltered, and powerful. And for fathers, this journal offers a chance to step away from the daily grind and dedicate intentional time with their children—not “leftover time” after a long day, but real, quality time to nurture their bond and grow together.

Fatherhood, like any art, is about being present and creating something meaningful. This journal is an invitation to embark on that journey - a chance to be a hero, not just in moments of triumph, but also in the everyday interactions that shape who we are as fathers and the lasting impact we have on our children.
