I believe that artists have an obligation to humanity when gifted with the talent to create, speak to something bigger than themselves. After watching george floyd be murdered in minneapolis i decided to express what i was going through, nothing different than what many others were experiecing in that moment; frustration, anger, confusion, hopelessness, then hope. this performance was my answer to illustrate that moment and another, when I created the painting "walking on air" during the conviction of derek chauvin.
