I created this to speak to how Eurocentric patriarchy has created "this america" that has continued to oppress and kill (oftentimes in more subtle ways) people of African descent.  These "founding fathers" penned each letter of any document that serves as the soil for the roots of america, for the benefit of white men. True, time and the sheer will of the people has changed the "toughness of the skin of the fruit", but, the roots of the tree remain the same.

The apple and the ray form the male symbol (which resembles the male penis and scrotum). When things are considered "as american as apple pie" that leads me to believe that the apple is the "unofficial fruit" of this country. I also find it ironic that the "apple is also what I consider, many Theologians may disagree, the "fruit of the sin". For a country built on such acts it's hard to ignore the accuracy of this irony.

The iconography on the ray are the initials of the noted seven main "founding fathers" of america:

John Adams

John Jay

Thomas Jefferson

George Washington.

Ben Franklin

Alexander Hamilton

James Madison...

All of them equally guilty for the pain, the trauma and the hate in america.
